Darolyn Pchajek (Dar) is married to Stephen and the proud mom of Joshua (9 years old), Grace (7 years old), and Andrew (5 years old). She taught clogging throughout all 3 pregnancies, and now all 3 children love music, and dance & “try to clog” every time they see their Mommy clog!

Dar was born & raised in Winnipeg, and has been clogging for 14 years. She started off with “Cut ‘n Loose”, and in 2000, Gerry Valois passed the group on to her, and she made it her own with the name “Dare to Clog”. She loves teaching as it gives her such a thrill to watch her students catch on to new steps, and enjoy dancing a song.

She loves to clog to all kinds of music, including country, rock, pop, disco, Celtic, and even Christian rock music. She loves to choreograph her own dances, and is excited to have her dances passed around other parts of the country and the U.S., and most recently in Australia & Germany, and France!

She has hosted her own annual Dare to Clog Workshop for the last 5 years, with different co-instructors – most recently with her friends, Barry Welch (Fresno, California) and Kerri Orthner (Sherwood Park, Alberta). This year, she organized the clogging portion of the 52^nd Square & Round Dance & Clogging Convention in June.

She is now also traveling & teaching at different conventions - the Canadian Nationals in London, Ontario in 2008, the Southern California Clogging Convention in August for 3 years, the Kick-Off Convention in Tacoma, Washington in September for the last 3 years, and at the Northern California Clogging Convention in Fresno, California in May, 2010. She is looking forward to teaching at California Spectacular (Fresno, CA) in May, 2012, and again at Kick-Off (Tacoma, WA) in Sept, 2012. Watch for flyers on the Workshop page!
